Bathing Program
The Alzheimer Society Peel’s free Bathing Program offers a safe, supportive, and spa-like experience designed specifically for Persons Living with Dementia in the community.
Whether you simply need access to an accessible, barrier-free shower or require full bathing assistance, our compassionate and highly trained Personal Support Workers are here to help.
The Bathing Program also offers personal care education for Care Partners, empowering them with the skills and confidence to provide safe, effective support at home.
We’re committed to providing dignified, personalized care in a comfortable environment, at no cost to you.
Please note that this service may not be suitable for individuals who have complex medical needs or individuals who require lifting. The Bathing Program is wheelchair accessible; however, to safely use the service, participants must be able to bear weight with or without assistance.
To determine if the Bathing Program is the right fit for your needs, your healthcare provider can submit a referral, or you’re welcome to contact us directly.
Location
The Bathing Program is located within the same building as our Brunel Day Centre at 385 Brunel Road in Mississauga (near Hwy 401 and Hurontario), with a clearly marked entrance on the east side of the building. Parking is available directly next to the entrance for your convenience.
